The beloved comfort food hangout of Kolonaki which has managed to stand out not only for its flavors but also for its completely environmentally-friendly philosophy, introduces us, in collaboration with Polygreen, to its brand new \u201cgreen\u201d take-away spot in Athens\u2019 northern suburbs.<\/p>\n

At 31 Palaiologou Street in Chalandri, you\u2019ll find a Zero Waste dining experience set up by the experienced IT team in collaboration with Polygreen, an advocate for environmental sustainability. In the industrial space designed and curated by Studio Materiality, a welcoming open kitchen is ready to serve you for a snack in the large outdoor area with a picnic vibe or pack it for you to take away, if you\u2019re on the go.<\/p>\n

In this brand-new space, IT collaborated with Polygreen and joined the Just Go Zero Program, which in recent years has been adopted by numerous organizations and businesses in our country. The program contributes to the circular management of the company\u2019s waste, while specifically in the case of IT, is also responsible for the recycling and complete utilization of glass and coffee residue, something that completely aligns with IT\u2019s fully green approach. As proudly stated by the group\u2019s team: \u201cIT is the zero waste movement! IT is time to act!\u201d<\/p>\n

The unchanging philosophy of IT throughout the years<\/strong><\/p>\n

IT may have spread its wings to new areas in the capital, however the values and philosophy behind its cuisine remain steady, just as when they started. Its main pillars? Food that is always fresh, healthy, delicious and creatively \u201cearthy\u201d. IT\u2019s values consistently revolve around simple heartfelt extroversion, simplicity, honesty, solidarity, authenticity, quality relationships, respect and aesthetics. At the same time, the need to operate with a social conscience, sensitivity and honesty toward each customer is of utmost importance to the IT family.<\/p>\n

\u201cNinis Toasties & Paninis\u201d: The new concept at IT Chalandri<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the same time, the team introduces us to its new food concept born in its green kitchen in Chalandri, called \u201cNinis, Toasities & Paninis\u201d, a concept deriving from the same IT raw materials used and based on the zero waste logic. The concept? Delicious toasts and paninis both savory and sweet, to intrigue even the most demanding palates. Just what you need for a quick breakfast, brunch or lunch that you can grab and go! Choose between the classics, with signature and sweet options depending on your preference. For fans of the classics, the following four options are available: Ham and Cheese with smoked ham, mozzarella and red onion chutney; Chicken Caesar with grilled chicken breast, bacon, corn, parmesan and homemade Caesar dressing; Caprese with fresh mozzarella, tomato, homemade basil and parmesan pesto; and finally, Chicken Cheddar Melt with grilled chicken breast, cheddar cheese, bacon and green pepper. Although the same number of options are available in the Signature category, they are completely different! Haloumi Melanza with grilled haloumi, grilled vegetables, sundried tomatoes and olives; Meatball Marinara with mini chicken burgers, oregano tomato sauce and mozzarella; Truffle Melt with fresh spinach, mushrooms black truffle bechamel sauce, mozzarella and parmesan; and, Ventricina with brie cheese, marinated pear and spicy Ventricina salami.<\/p>\n

Of course, the menu wouldn\u2019t be complete without some sweet options: Apple Praline with apple, walnuts and hazelnut praline, and Honey Manouri with manouri cheese, thyme honey and sesame.<\/h5>\n
